Purpose- To make small and large size objects.
Advantages- Cheapest process , easy to setup and wide variety of material can use.
Disadvantages-less accurate and layer lines are visible.
SLA- STEROLITHOGRAPHY
Purpose- To make small and large size objects.
Advantages- Smooth surface finish, almost industrial grade product finishing.
Disadvantages-cost of machine and material is more , melting point of this material is less compare to FDM and little bit brittle.

DLP- DIGITAL LIGHT PROCESSING
Purpose- To make small object( upto 200mm)
Advantages- Smooth surface finish, fast compare to sla , easy to use and can be used inside office due to compact machine size.
Disadvantages-less accurate compare to SLA , limited size object can be manufacture.
CJP- COLOR JET PRINTING
Purpose- To make small and colorful object
Advantages- Any colorful object can be manufactured
Disadvantages- very brittle, rough surface finish, less dimensionally accurate, expensive machine cost.
SLS- SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING
Purpose- To make small and large size PLASTIC objects.
Advantages- almost any complicated structure can be made , high tensile and compression strength , good temperature resistance and greater flexibility.
Disadvantages- Rough surface finish, expensive material and machine cost, limited material avaibility.
DMLS- DIRECT METAL LASER SINTERING
Purpose- To make small and large size METAL objects.
Advantages- almost any complicated structure can be made , high tensile and compression strength , excellent temperature resistance.
Disadvantages- minor rough surface finish, expensive material and machine cost, limited material avaibility.
